ReviewSaathi vs doing it yourself vs review tools: price and what you get
Last updated 22 October 2026 · By Autonova Solutions, Mumbai
A salon owner in Pune has three browser tabs open. One shows a review tool priced in dollars. One is a message from a friend of a friend. One is ReviewSaathi. She wants someone to deal with her Google reviews.
Short answer: doing it yourself costs only your time, and everything else charges a fee. ReviewSaathi is Rs.3,499 a month plus GST, and it is not the cheapest row in the table below.
What does it cost to manage Google reviews yourself?
Doing it yourself costs no fees, only your time. You read each review, write a reply and post it from your own Google account. A shop with a few reviews a week may need about 15 minutes most days. A busy shop needs more.
The hard part is the busy week when reviews pile up. Our guide on getting ahead of the shop next door on Google shows how to keep a small routine going.
What does a freelancer or local agency cost?
Prices for a freelancer or local agency vary a lot. We did not find reliable public prices, so we give no numbers here. Ask for a written quote that lists what is included, how many replies, who approves them and how you can stop.
What do review-management tools cost?
Review-management tools usually charge a monthly or yearly fee. Of the nine rows below, seven show a starting price and two say price on request. Only two rows, Reputify and ReviewSaathi, show prices in rupees. Five show dollar prices, so your bill can move with the exchange rate.
| Tool | Built for | Starting price shown | Help with replying to reviews | Prices in INR |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| ReviewSaathi | Local businesses in India | Rs.3,499 a month plus GST, or Rs.34,999 a year plus GST | Writes a reply to every review, usually within a day. 1 to 3 star and sensitive replies wait for your OK | Yes |
Prices checked on 22 October 2026 on each company's own pricing page. They change, so check the page before you decide. Taxes are extra where shown.
ReviewSaathi is not the cheapest line in this table. Read the reply column closely, because writing, drafting and posting a reply are different jobs.

Which option suits which business?
The best option depends on how many reviews you get and how much time you have. A small shop may manage alone. A multi-branch business may want software. A single local business in India may want replies written for it.
- Do it yourself: an owner with few reviews and 15 free minutes most days.
- Review software: owners or multi-branch businesses who want a dashboard and will write or approve replies themselves, or agencies.
- A freelancer: someone who wants a person they know locally.
- ReviewSaathi: a single local business in India that wants replies written for it, unhappy ones held for approval, at one flat price.
What should I ask any provider before I pay?
Ask six things before you pay anyone: who writes the replies, who approves unhappy ones, whether you keep ownership of your Google page, whether there is a set-up fee, whether you can stop, and whether it is built for one location. Get the answers in writing.
- Who writes the replies?
- Who approves unhappy ones?
- Do I keep ownership of my Google page?
- Is there a set-up fee?
- Can I stop?
- Is it built for one location?
Google's help page says, "There's no way to request or pay for a better local ranking on Google." (Google Business Profile Help). More basics are in our Google reviews FAQ.
Questions owners ask when comparing
Is ReviewSaathi the cheapest option?
No. Several rows in the table above show a lower starting price. ReviewSaathi charges one flat price with no set-up fee and writes the replies for you. Compare what each plan does, not only the number.
What happens if I stop using a provider?
Your reviews live on your own Google page, so they stay there. With ReviewSaathi you stay the owner and can remove Manager access any time. Ask any other provider how to stop before you pay.
Does ReviewSaathi post on Google for me today?
ReviewSaathi writes a reply to every review, usually within a day, and unhappy ones wait for your OK. Google approval for posting access is pending, so check the homepage for current status.
